WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS CAR?
RICHARD: "Well like most people say video games played a huge roll for me. Howeve; my love for the R32 skyline came when I was about 7 when my dad bought me a hot wheel. At that time I didn’t know what type of car it was but it was my absolute favorite. Fast forward to 2001 when Need For Speed Underground came out and low and behold the main villains car was the car I loved as a child. From that moment on my goal was to one day get that car!"
WHAT WAS THE MAIN GOAL WHEN THE BUILD STARTED?
RICHARD: "Once I had the car imported to the states Which was January 2017, my main goal was to do a wide body build. At that time there was no “pandem” or “rocket bunny” kits available. Thankfully to my excitement Pandem announced in late 2017 that a pandem kit was on its way for the R32 skyline."
DO YOU HAVE A UNIQUE STORY BEHIND THE CAR OR BUILD?
RICHARD: "The only thing I can think of is between waiting for the pandem kit to be made, the wheels to be made, the installation of the kit, patience is the one thing I’ve learned with this build."
WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS FOR THE CAR?
RICHARD: "’m currently building an RB26det for a big turbo swap. That is the one thing that’s been in progress, although thanks to Covid 19 things are at a stand still."
Is there anything you would have done differently if you could go back?
RICHARD: "Absolutely not! With this build I can happily say that I’ve put everything on that I’ve wanted. I’ve taken no shortcuts whatsoever. As you can tell by my mod list I’d rather wait for what I really want than settle for something I’ll just change out later."
