Why did you choose this car?

Duc: "I was in the market for an 996 911 Turbo and was google Rocket Bunny kit for the Porsche. From my search result there was a lot of Rocket Bunny Cayman pop up and i was sold. The next day I had a change of plan and started looking for a Cayman. I found a lot of Gen 1 for cheap and was so close of picking up one. After doing some research and found out that Gen 1 Cayman have reliability issues do to IMS and bore scoring, I end up paying more for a Gen 2 with PDK dual clutch transmission and never looking back."
Picture

What was the main goal when the build started?

Duc: "My plan was to build this car for my wife to drive to show with me."
Picture

Do you have a unique story behind the car or build?

Duc: "I'm lucky to have a very supporting wife. I told my wife I want an Gen 2 Cayman S and she was very supportive with my decision. We both spend countless night searching for and Gen 2 with a pacific spec that I want. One day at work my wife text me a link and tell me she find this car in Boston let go pick it up. After calling the dealer and make our offer my wife surprise me by booking our plane ticket and hotel. She have the whole trip plan out by flying in to Boston picking up the car then make a road trip back. on our way back we spend a day at Niagara Fall in Buffalo NY, our following day at Cedar Point Amusement park in Ohio, then head back home. One of the best feeling ever taking out new car for a road trip right out of the dealer."
Picture

What are your future plans for the car?

Duc: "Full car wrap in a different color, roll cage and a custom turbo setup."

Is there anything you would have done differently if you could go back?

Duc: "I have couple build on my belt, i have learn a lot from it. Now I'm a firm believer of doing it once and doing it right and quality over quantity. So far there is nothing that i would do different."
