Why did you choose this car?

DEAN: "The sound and all the differentness it has to any other import, the symmetrical awd system, the boxer motor, and tons of other things. Lets not forget the lines on the body from 02-07 on wrx/sti's are so awesome."
Picture

What was the main goal when the build started?

DEAN: "I did not really know. The car is on its 5th major change from wingless sleek to dipped and other changes along the way I am finally at the current build that I am satisfied with."

Picture

Do you have a unique story behind the car or build?

DEAN: "I always loved Subarus and when I got a chance from my friend Richard to buy his I jumped on it. Funny thing is about 7 years ago it had about 40k miles on it and only had a exhaust in which I installed. Richard was selling all his items and moving and at the time I threw him a low ball offer. To my surprise he took it. Rumor has it he still kicks himself in the butt about it. Sorry buddy Its in good hands."

Picture

What are your future plans for the car?

DEAN: "Well I'm currently over seas (military) as it sits hidden in a storage unit until 2024 when I hope the hype on the vehicle dies down and it can reemerge once again. Don't worry I have a family member checking it and also starting it every two months. Also yes all fluids have been changed its on jack stands and safe."
Picture

Is there anything you would have done differently if you could go back?

DEAN: "I think every one says in the Subaru game keep it stage 2 (full exhaust and a tune), but I love it now its a work of art. Honestly I would change the color. The color has become more of a thing over the past couple years."

Shoutouts

First and foremost

Stuart Luttrell- (SL Autoworks owner) Only shop to really help in-depth with build parts I was unsure or felt unsafe doing.

Kevin Baltz- The best custom fabricator in Arkansas. With out his expertise the v mount wouldn't exist.

Calvin- (owner of dotsun tuning in TX) One of the best Subaru tuners out and about!

Every one who helped me wrench and all the social media pages/followers over the years that encouraged the build.

Josh Nam- (owner importimageracing) The best deals and has always helped me out or fixed any problem immediately. Cant forget his awesome work crew!
