Why did you choose this car?
Bryan: "I had a red FR-S prior to this one. Long story short, I ended up selling it before I left to join the Air Force. When I returned to California, I was looking at other cars then stumbled upon this Release Series model in the showroom. I fell in love with the paint color and interior features instantly. At first, I was unsure about getting another 86. But my mind told me I wasn't done with the platform just yet, so I bought another one!"
Bryan: "A simply clean street setup was the main goal with this model. I also
wanted the car to sit nice and low, so I went with the Work Meister S1R, my all time favorite wheels. I ordered them with mild offsets and running square setup all around because I knew I would be daily driving the car." |
Do you have a unique story behind the car or build?
I drove the car all the way from California to Louisiana since I'm stationed there. Ever since then, I've met so many great people along the way and attend many different carshows in various states including StoopiCold 2017 and SlammedEnuff Atlanta. The memories and experiences I've made is what makes everything worth it.
What are your future plans for the car?
Bryan: "Stay stock body and run a more aggressive wheel and suspension setup."
Shoutouts
Bryan: "Shoutout to the homie Anit for always being down to shoot and got me into this feature, couldn't have done it without him! Special thanks to my girlfriend Danika for always supporting me in whatever I do, my best friend Tim Hinsey for always giving me a helping hand whenever I work on the car, and everyone else that has interacted with me and the build in the past. Lastly, thank you SlammedEnuff Fam for the feature."
