Why did you choose this car?

ANDREW: "The reason why I chose this car started when my wife informed me that I had to start looking for a 4 door car at the time I was very confused and asked why? She informed me that we where going to have our first kid! I was in shock but also was worried that I would have to give up performance car's forever and buy a minivan, so after being bummed out but excited at the same time she hit me with another surprise. She had pulled her phone out and showed me a 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution IX SE that a 70 year old man owned with only 4k miles and said PERFECT DAD MOBIL! So I went to look at it and it turned into an interview? The 70 year old man was turning down people trying to buy it, he wanted to make sure that i was going to take care of his baby and not destroy it. After the interview he agreed to sell it to me and i was ecstatic! The car still has O.E.M paint and I daily drove it in Alaska for 4 years!"

What was the main goal when the build started?

ANDREW: "I started to build this car for time attack originally after racing the car for 3 years I realized how rare the Evolution IX SE was so i grounded the car so that it wouldn't end up wrecked , so I wanted to start a clean build that the car should have looked like from the factory , not to much.I really enjoy the stock body lines on the EVO so why destroy it with a wide body kit."

What are your future plans for the car?

ANDREW: "My next goal is perfecting the interior with a powder coated roll cage, This car is not just all show it is all go also! I also am working on a front mount turbo set up with A/C."
