Kevin Wright's 2005 Acura RSX Type S
Nowadays in more cases than not, the better the car… the more arrogant the owners. However if you are fortunate enough to know Kevin, then you know that statement definitely doesn’t apply to that dude. We consider Kevin to be well known in the car scene. I mean… if you walk around a car event and random people whisper in the background “it’s dc5kevin” while walking by and some even ask to take a picture with you... you know you have made it to car world stardom. Most people would let that get to their head but not this guy. Kevin hands down has one of the dopest cars in the scene yet remains one of the humblest guys we know. Check out the photos below… ITS DC5KEVIN!!!!
Kevin: "I purchased the car back in 2006 as Daily Beater to drive while I finished my Turbo GSR build, but instantly fell in love with the car once I started driving it. I decided that if I would be driving the car on a daily basis, I needed to lower the car and buy wheels, so I bought Ground Control coilovers and Enkei RPf1’s immediately. To make a long story short after driving the car for a month, I parted out my turbo build sold my Integra and never looked back.
The rest is history"
"There are so many people to thank I don’t even know where to begin. First and foremost, none, and I mean NONE of this would be possible without the complete support of my better half Anna. She supports my hobby without question and never keeps me from doing what I love.
I would also like to thank Craig Byrd at Rare-Snare for being an amazing sponsor and helping me in any way possible to get whatever parts I need in a timely manner.
In addition, I would like to thank Charlan and Tim of Slammedenuff for always setting me up with booth parking at events they attend, taking excellent care of me with parts I need, and always being huge supporters of my build.
Huge shout out to my newest sponsor Vinyl Bros for doing an amazing job on my custom vinyl wrap! Needless to say, they went above and beyond to get my car ready to reveal at the Stance Nation Dallas Texas event, and I am looking forward
to my next wrap with these guys!
Last but not least, all the blood sweat and tears from my friends is what helped make this dream of mine become a reality. Ryan Thornton for all of the help with my AirRex and Roll Cage install, Ernest Hughes for helping with my JDM K24 swap, Adam Cregg
for helping with my engine wire tuck, Ralph Martin for doing most all of my interior wiring and trunk setup, And all of the others
who came by to lend a hand when it was needed.
I could not have done this without you."
