Why did you choose this car?
KATIE: "I originally wasn’t going to get this car, I live in New England and I needed a awd car that was fun for the winters. It was a tough choice because I was just going to get a E46 M3 or M5 (even though it’s rwd), but I found a STI for sale near me and gave it a try. Honestly, I knew from that day I test drive it this was the car for me."
What was the main goal when the build started?
KATIE: "I wanted to build it and make around 500hp, but then my engine blew and I decided to shift my focus to something else for the time being. Honestly, my car is exactly where I pictured it being 6 years ago."
Do you have a unique story behind the car or build?
KATIE: "Not really, I just wanted this build and this car to reflect me as a person and to be one of a kind and nothing like it out there. It’s not everyday you meet girls into cars like I am."
What are your future plans for the car?
KATIE: "Right now, I’m planning on getting some interior stuff done. I got a couple ideas in the works for next season, but ultimately I want to definitely do an engine build!"
Is there anything you would have done differently if you could go back?
KATIE: "That’s a tough one, I’m pretty happy with the way it looks but it can always get better."
Shoutouts
KATIE: "Just want to thank everyone who has seen me along my way and supported me, and for all the faces and talented photographers I’ve meet this year! You guys have all helped make this happen and inspire me everyday!"
